Trinity Thanks
Thank you to everyone who attended our Trinity House event, sponsored by Weathernews Inc and Cargill.
We are extremely grateful for the continued generosity and support from all of our supporters. This was evident again in the amazing £1,295 you helped us to raise by participating in the Reception raffle.

Economic climate means seafarers need us more than ever…
It is crucial that companies continue their commitment to supporting the seafaring community, and the Sailors’ Society is thrilled that many companies still regard supporting our work as a priority. In fact, there is a strong argument that during hard times Corporate Social Responsibility can help companies differentiate themselves from competitors.
“We know that as the economic times for shipping get tougher there will be occasions when unscrupulous owners neglect crews. Ships and crews may be abandoned; pay and funding may be late or may not arrive at all. These are the times when the Sailors' Society is most needed and why we should all continue to support them” Jeremy Penn, Chief Executive of The Baltic Exchange.

Thank you to all the companies that have funded Port Chaplain’s minibuses so far this year…
Pacific Basin Shipping Company has donated over £20,000 to the Sailors’ Society to purchase a minibus for the Port of Manila and has agreed to fund its running costs for the next five years.
Zodiac Maritime Agencies have sponsored minibuses to transport seafarers in Felixstowe and Immingham, and Inchcape Shipping Services have contributed to the purchase of a new seafarers minibus in the port of Southampton.
